Softchalk 7
This tutorial introduces you to Softchalk. This program will let you make a lesson consisting of a series of linked pages with text and learning activities. The tutorial was written using the Softchalk program.
By the end of this lesson you will
- have seen what a Softchalk lesson will look like
- know how to set the Properties to customize your lesson
- know how to insert "Sidebars" to add to your lesson
- been introduced to many of the types of learning activities available in Softchalk
- know where to look on the Softchalk menu to insert these activities
- know where to find Help and look for additional information
This won't be everything you might want to know to use Softchalk, but it should be enough to get started!
You can navigate through this lesson in several ways.
- Click the "Next" link at the top of the page or "Next Page" at the bottom of the page to progress through the lesson
- Move your mouse cursor over the "TOC" (table of contents) link at the top of the page - a cascading menu will appear
- Click on a page number at the top of the page to go directly to that page
