What is a Lesson?

A lesson is a series of webpages. It may have

• An optional Entry Page which has a table of contents
• A series of pages that follow
• Text, graphics, links and learning activities on those pages

When editing you don't see all those pages - you will see only a single editing window with pagebreaks between what will become the webpages.

• To add a page to a lesson - from the Insert menu choose "Page Break" and then Insert (or type Ctrl-Enter)

The Table of Contents or the Entry Page are created automatically by the Softchalk program. Even if you don't choose to have an Entry Page, the program will still create the Table of Contents (TOC) and you can make it available through a navigation menu.
