Style Settings
The first thing you'll want to do is choose a Style for your lesson. This can always be modified later.
Styles
This determines the colors and text styles andtext colors for your pages.
- In the Properties menu choose Style Properties
- Choose the Styles tab
- Browse through and select a Style.
You won't be able to see that Style while editing. To view the pages with the Style applied - go to Preview and select Preview Document (Ctrl-P). A quick short-cut to Preview is Ctrl-S Ctrl-P. This will save your page then preview it. Close the Preview window when you are done - otherwise you will get a lot of open windows!
If you are using Internet Explorer then every time you Preview you may get a message asking if you want to run "Active Content" on your computer. (This will not happen when the lesson is hosted on a website). To avoid this message.
- Use Firefox as your default browser
In Internet Explorer
- Go to Tools, Internet Options
- Click on the Advanced Tab
- Scroll down and under Security check the box that says "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer".
