Flash Card
Match Terms with Definitions. You can include images with the Definition only, but can also choose to show the Definition first and ask for the Term. An image will be resized to fit the card, so it is best to use images that are close to the expected size. The student can use these for self-testing or for review.
- From the Insert menu, choose "Activity" then "Flash Card"
- Click New to add a card - then enter the term and definition
- The Options tab will let you enter instructions for the student
- If you wish to import cards as text - type up a file containing one line per card. Each line should read "Term | Definition" (without any quotation marks). The vertical line | symbol is usually above Enter on your keyboard
| What is this? Click "Show" to see the answer. | ||
Sorting
This activity allows the students to sort cards into categories. The cards can contain text or pictures (with or without captions).

- Enter Categories then create Cards in a similar fashion to creating Flashcards as described above.

- From the Insert menu, choose "Activity" then "DragNDrop"
- Information is entered as "Item" and "Match"
| Drag the items from the bottom to the slots on the right. | ||
